Create a free listing with up to 3 photos and a short description. Your first 3 listings each month are free — a $2 fee applies from the 4th listing onward. Listings stay active for 14 days.

Browse listings by category or search for something specific. When you find something you want, send a trade offer — propose your item in exchange, or add a cash sweetener to make the deal work.

When both sides agree, each trader pays a $25 refundable deposit. This keeps everyone accountable and ensures the trade actually happens. The deposit is held securely until the trade completes.

Enter your shipping address privately — it's never shared with the other trader. Ship your item using any carrier, then enter your tracking number. CoolTrade stores only your city and state; your full address is deleted after shipping.

Once you confirm you received the other trader's item, the trade is marked complete. Both traders automatically receive a $20 refund. The $5 per trader covers the platform fee that keeps CoolTrade running.

Want to add cash to sweeten the deal?
If your items aren't an even swap, either trader can propose a cash amount to balance things out. The buyer pays a $25 deposit plus 10% of the cash offer as a service fee. The seller's payout info (Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal) is shared with the buyer only after both deposits are confirmed — then the buyer sends the cash directly.

Rate your trading partner 1–5 stars after each completed trade. Ratings are public on every trader's profile.
Non-delivery protection
If a trader doesn't ship on time, their deposit is forfeited and their account is frozen for 30 days. No exceptions.
