It turns out that some wealthy investors decided that their well-heeled, active money managers and fancy financial advisors didn't know much more than they did about making money in bear markets, and they switched from full- service brokerages to self-directed discount brokers -- where they are also less likely to run into the likes of Bernie Madoff' according to Barron's, in its March 2009 Online Brokers rating.

New Releases
New Version Reminders
New updates are available almost every week to make minor tweaks
or enhancements. These are called "incremental revisions".
Whenever you select "Download New Software" from either the
Strategy Wizard or the Automated Trader, you get these fixes.
Some of our members download the latest changes first thing
every morning. Since these are not major changes,
we do not force all clients to download these updates.

However, if a major release is made, then everyone must upgrade
to the latest version. In these cases, when you start up the
application, you will receive a prompt similar to:
"New Version Available, Please Upgrade to Version 2.x"
"Press OK to Proceed With the Download".
The CoolTrade Live Update program will automatically download
the lastest version of the software, without you having to
manually un-install or re-install the programs.
